Just thought of sharing a few snaps of Chettinad, the region of Tamil nadu, famous for its buildings and food.

Am not blogging as of now for the food items.. am starting with the buildings as of now..

The first 6 snaps are that of the "Aayiram Jannal Veedu", that means "1000 window house". It is said that the house contains 1000 windows.


It is not just the windows in the house. It is about the flooring, the ceiling and the carpentry. All of these are common across all the attractive buildings across Chettinad.
